Dalea Faulkner

Dalea Faulkner has never believed in staying in one lane, and her body of work proves it. She's the author behind the beloved Amberlight Valley Trilogy, The Christmas Witch, Lost in Time, and The Secrets of Starlight Lake, along with the children's book The Magic of Night, all published under her own imprint, Shield Maiden Moon Publishing. But the story didn't stay on the page for long. The Christmas Witch is now in production as a feature film, with Dalea stepping behind the camera as director and producer, working alongside her mother, Martina Webster, under their shared banner, DarMar Productions that champions "movies with meaning",”to bring it to life.

That instinct to build rather than wait for permission runs through everything she touches. She's Co-Producer of the Show Low Film Festival, an independent film festival rooted in the White Mountains of Arizona, and treats filmmakers like family, not submissions in a queue. She also runs her own creative web design business, Creative Web Concierge, building sites and digital homes for the very kind of storytellers, dreamers, and community builders she loves working alongside.

At the center of it all is home. Dalea is married to U.S. Army Veteran Brien Faulkner and is proud mother to their son, Daen. She finds as much inspiration in the quiet rhythms of family life as she does in any script or storyboard, and the White Mountains of Arizona, with its seasons and its stillness, shows up again and again in her work. When she's not writing, filming, or building something new, she's usually baking, reading, or wandering somewhere wild, always half in search of the next story.
